You Will Never Be Forgotten…
Charles George Rutten
3 February 1917 – 26 February 2006
Awarded the Bronze Star for his courage with
7th Division, Company H, 32nd Infantry
in four WWII battles against Japanese forces:
Attu, Kwajalien, Leyte and Okinawa.

I have read “Goodbye Darkness” by William Manchester. It contains vivid descriptions about the campaign in the Pacific.
Charles was not only a war hero, he was a great man of honesty, integrity, and family stewardship. He was loved by many, and our current political and corporate leaders could learn many values
about leadership and integrity. He was also my father. He loved sports, picking berries, and his church. We need more people and leaders in the world like Charles.
May God Bless Us All…
