Killed in Action, Body Not Recovered
Because I wear the POW/MIA bracelet of John Clark Hurst I am curious about his personal life and military history. Who was this man that gave his life in service to my country? Where was he born? Where did he grow up? Who was his family and who did he leave behind? Whose memory does he live on in, besides mine? Upon further research I found there was an organization established for adopting POW/MIA's whose remains have never been recovered . The participants in this organization called Operation Just Cause are working towards a full recovery of those who were/are lost to us during the Vietnam Era (1965-1975).
